As precision measuring equipment to internal thread, the Leitech Hi-resolution gauge is implemented in a large
number of leading process companies, world-wide.

The Hi-resolution gauge, has besides the funtion of a traditional thread gauge, integrated precision measurement
of thread depth, where the measure result is obtained in the same process.

The Hi-resolution depth measurement funtion is started when the go side is screwed in the thread.
In the process the scale divided teleschope measuring slevve is pushed up in the handle, the thread depth can be read directly on the scale.

The resolution on the scale on the LeitechHi-resolution gauge is 0,1 or 0.005”

Where the demand for the accuracy is not so high, the Leitech Combi gauge is used, which has an measuring accuracy on the depth on 0.5 mm

Replacement of inserts and calibration of depth. A new gauge in approx. 2 min.! Slide the Member Removal Sleeve over the gauge member to be replaced (Green/Go & Red/Not Go). Thread the nut on to the gauge member. Tighten the nut against the Member Removal Sleeve. Wrench the gauge member from the handle. Insert the new gauge member. Tap against a soft surface to seat the gauge member into the handle. Loosen the two locking screws on the handle with an Allen wrench. Dial the pitch on the Calibration Master. Place the Go end of the gauge into the appropriate size hole. Grasp and turn the Not Go member and line up the Hi-resolution Gauge measuring scale at the .400 (inch) or 10 mm (metric) line. Re-tighten the locking screws finger-tight. The Hi-resolution gauge is now set at the correct calibration length (X) for accurate functional thread depth measurement.
